Terms of Use

These terms apply to your use of doorliftiq.com, our quotation and enquiry forms, and the DoorLiftIQ dealer portal.

Effective September 1, 2026 LiftIQ Door System Inc. Ontario, Canada

At a glance

  • A quote request is not a contract; sales are confirmed in writing.
  • Prices are in Canadian dollars, plus applicable taxes.
  • Dealer portal accounts are for approved businesses only.
  • Your rights under Canadian consumer protection law are not limited.

1 About these terms

This website is operated by LiftIQ Door System Inc. under the DoorLiftIQ brand. By using the site, requesting a quote or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2 Product information

We work to keep specifications, photographs and documentation accurate and current. Products may be updated as designs improve, and photographs are illustrative — finishes and packaging may differ slightly. Where an exact figure matters to your installation, confirm it with us in writing before ordering.

3 Quotations

A quote request is a request for information, not a contract of sale. Nothing becomes binding until DoorLiftIQ confirms products, pricing and availability to you in writing (a written quote, order confirmation or invoice).

Quotes are valid for the period stated on them and may be revised if supply costs, exchange rates or freight costs change before you accept.

4 Pricing and taxes

All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD). Prices do not include taxes. Applicable GST, HST, PST or QST is added based on the delivery province and shown on your quote or invoice.

Prices shown to approved dealers in the dealer portal are confidential and apply only to that dealer account.

5 Product availability

All products are subject to availability. If an item you have requested is not in stock, we will tell you before confirming your order and give you an estimated availability date or an alternative.

6 Payment

Payment terms, accepted payment methods and due dates are set out on your quote or invoice. Unless agreed otherwise in writing, orders are not shipped until payment has been received.

7 Shipping and delivery

Delivery method, cost and estimated delivery time are confirmed on your quote or order confirmation. Delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed.

Please inspect your delivery on arrival. Note any visible damage to the packaging on the carrier's delivery receipt.

8 Backorders

If part of an order is not available, we will contact you to agree whether to ship the available items now and the rest later, wait until the full order is ready, or cancel the unavailable items without charge.

9 Cancellations and returns

To cancel an order that has not yet shipped, contact us as soon as possible at info@doorliftiq.com. Returns of unused products must be arranged with us in advance and may be subject to conditions set out on your invoice.

10 Damaged or incorrect products

If a product arrives damaged, defective or is not what you ordered, contact us at info@doorliftiq.com within a short period of delivery with your order number and photos. We will arrange a replacement, repair, correction or refund, as appropriate.

11 Dealer portal access

Dealer portal accounts are issued to approved businesses only. If you hold an account:

  • keep your sign-in details confidential and do not share your account;
  • dealer pricing is confidential and must not be published or shared;
  • we may suspend or close an account that is misused.

12 Installation and safety

Garage doors and openers are powerful equipment. Install, service and operate DoorLiftIQ products strictly in accordance with the supplied manual and applicable building and electrical codes. Professional installation is recommended, particularly for side-mount and high-lift doors.

Never disable a safety feature, including the photo-eye sensors or auto-reverse. Doing so is unsafe and voids warranty coverage.

13 Warranty

Product warranty coverage is set out in full in our Warranty Policy, which forms part of these terms.

14 Third-party services

Smart features rely on third-party platforms including the SmartLife app, Amazon Alexa, Google Home and HomeLink. These services are operated by their owners and may change independently of us. HomeLink compatibility may vary by vehicle make, model and model year.

15 Intellectual property

The DoorLiftIQ name, logo, product names, website design, photographs and documentation belong to LiftIQ Door System Inc. and may not be copied or used without written permission, except for approved dealers using supplied marketing materials.

16 Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, DoorLiftIQ is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website or reliance on its content.

17 Your rights under Canadian law

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any rights you have under applicable federal, provincial or territorial consumer protection laws, including Quebec's Consumer Protection Act. Where these terms conflict with those laws, the laws apply.

18 Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without limiting any consumer's rights under the laws of their own province or territory.
